Building Process
Our computerized scheduling system tracks every step of your home's progress both during and before construction begins. Below is an approximate timetable from the date the contract is executed to the time you're moving into your new Mitford Home.
| 1 Day | Contract is signed |
| 2-10 Days | Plans are submitted to Drafting Company for rough draft of floor plan |
| 11-15 Days | Plans reviewed by customer and builder, changes made as needed |
| 16-25 Days | Plans revised by Drafting Company |
| 26-28 Days | Plans again reviewed by customer builder, final changes are made |
| 29-39 Days | Final plans are prepared by the Drafting Company, specs and building contract are signed |
| 40-55 Days | Construction loan closes. Pre Construction Meeting is held. |
| 56-85 Days | Selections completed, house is staked on lot, plot plan drawn, permits are obtained, temporary electric service is established, final plans are signed by customer and builder |
| 85-99 Days | Construction begins |
| 220-280 Days | Home is completed if crawl space |
| 250-310 Days | Home is completed if basement |
